Boy Scouts Day (Ages:  10-12, Webelos Group)

Have your boy scout come to the Community Center and earn his swimming badge. This program is for the Webelos division of the Boy Scouts. We will provide all the information, equipment and facilities that are required to earn this badge.  Price:  $5

Parents Night Out (7-11 years)

Play basketball, dodge ball, and hang out with your friends. Parents enjoy a night out while the kids have a fun night at the community center. Please send your child with money for the vending machines or pack a snack.  Price:  $8 Pass Holders/$10 for all others, Sign up for all three dates and save!  Price: $20 Pass holders/$25 for all others

Home Alone Seminar (9-12 years)
Have you ever been home alone after school or on a Saturday afternoon? Can you safely make a tasty snack in the kitchen? Do you know how to play it safe when answering the telephone or when someone is at the door? This class will provide you with home safety tips and more.  Price:  $15 NR / $12 RES

PotteryWorks (5-15 years)

It’s Spring! Schedule some fun time for your child to play in the mud!  Young artists will have fun exploring their imagination, developing creativity and gain confidence all by working with clay. Each week, children will complete one project from beginning to end. Some of the projects we will be doing are animated cartoon figures, boats, large butterflies, and a project towards the end of the session that will allow your child to create a piece based on their own personal interests. We welcome all skill levels and abilities. All supplies are included and pieces are fired at the Pottery Works Mobile Studio.  Price: $93 NR/$79 NR-Pass/$75 Res/$65 R-Pass

Youth Tennis

This class is ideal for new tennis players or for those who used to play and are looking to get back into the swing of things. This class will introduce how to use forehand and backhand, volley and serve. Participants are required to bring a racquet and a new can of tennis balls to class.  Location: East Plymouth Valley Park.  Price:  $68 NR/$55 RES

Butterflies & Insects

We will explore several species of insects, including butterflies, and learn how they are adapted to their environment and the various ways they undergo metamorphosis.  We will explore the insects that inhabit Harriet Wetherill Park’s butterfly garden, streams and grass land.  Groups are welcome!  Registration is required.  Pack a picnic lunch!  Location: Harriet Wetherill Park  Price:  $5 per person

Watersheds & Water Cycles
