Police Records

The Records Division at Plymouth Township Police Department manages information for all calls for police service.  We provide information, reports, and services to law enforcement agencies and the public.

Obtaining a Copy of a Police Incident Report

Police Reports – $20.00

Reports are available 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday.  You may pay for your report by cash, check, money order and/or most major credit/debit cards.  Some reports are not available for release.  Please call ahead to check the status of the requested report at 610-279-1901.

To obtain an incident report, fill out the Incident Report Request Form from the documents section to print out at home and return it to the department or pick-up a form in the police lobby.  Forms may be picked up and dropped off 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  You may also mail the Incident Report Request Form or a written request to receive a copy of an incident report by mail.  For after hours pick up, click here for After Hours Pick Up Form.

The Records Unit will receive your request on the following business day and will contact you when the report is ready to be picked up.  We will need a number where we may contact you between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.  Please allow at least two business days for your request to be processed.

Please download the requested report form from the documents section or follow the directions for making a written request.  Your request MUST include the date and location of the incident, your name and address, a phone number where we can contact you between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, the incident report number, if available, and your signature.

Include a non-refundable check or money order with your request and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.  Make checks payable to Plymouth Township at the following address:

NOTE:  Certain information pertaining to persons named in reports may be obscured from a printed copy of the report to protect the privacy of individuals involved.  Parents or legal guardians may only obtain information regarding minors in person.  Please contact the Records Unit for more information.

Reports that are part of a pending investigation may not be available.

 Accident Reports – $15.00

To maintain the privacy of persons involved, we DO NOT fax reports.

Letter of Good Conduct

Other services the Police Department provides to the residents and visitors of Plymouth Township include preparing a “Letter of Good Conduct” or other similar record checks for individuals seeking certain types of employment, students traveling abroad and adults who wish to adopt a child.
