 popularity as birders come to appreciate the number of bird species attrac
 ted to the native plants and varied habitat available here.</span> <span c
 lass='OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none'>Spring often ma
 kes for easy sightings for new birders\, with the birds plentiful and visi
 ble as spring residents migrate in\, and both spring and year-round reside
 nts begin their mating and nesting activities.</span></p>\n<p class='cvGsU
 A direction-ltr align-start para-style-body'><span class='OYPEnA text-deco
 ration-none text-strikethrough-none'>We may see everything from killdeer a
 nd hawks in the cultivated and natural fields\, to woodpeckers and just-ar
 riving orioles\, warblers and hummingbirds in the woods and butterfly gard
 en.</span> <span class='OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-non
 e'>The little stream flowing through is a perfect spot to attract thrushes
 \, green herons and cedar waxwings.</span> <span class='OYPEnA text-decora
 tion-none text-strikethrough-none'>We will take about 2 hours on the 1+ mi
 le paved and natural paths for a relaxed exploration of these various area

 his trip is targeted at those new to birding\, all experience levels and a
 ge groups are welcome to join us. Bring binoculars if you have them\; the
