GPCC Opportunities

The Greater Plymouth Community Center is currently accepting resumes and applications for the following positions:

 

Fitness Specialist Subs:  Monitor fitness floor, assist newer members with their program, update exercise routines or add exercises as requested, occasional open or close fitness area, equipment cleaning/maintenance, etc.   Qualifications: Prefer BS degree in Exercise Science field or related field, but will consider someone who has completed at least 3 years of courses in this field and still in school. CPR and First Aid Certification must be completed within the first 3 months.

 

Group Exercise Instructor Subs:  Fill-in as needed for a variety of classes such as HardCore, Kickboxing, Yoga, Senior Aerobic classes, SilverSneaker Classes, Cycling, Suspension Training, etc.  Qualifications:  Must have an updated Group Exercise Certification and experience in teaching group fitness classes.

After School counselors and Summer Camp Counselors

Part-time Custodian (Evenings/Weekends): 

Part-time opportunity to perform routine maintenance care for the Greater Plymouth Community Center.  High school diploma or equivalent required.  Prior experience working in maintenance or custodial position preferred.  Complete an application and email to hr@plymouthtownship.org or in person at the Greater Plymouth Community Center, 2910 Jolly Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462.

 

Lifeguard: 

The lifeguard is primarily responsible for the safety of all participants in the aquatic area while the facility is in use. Current certifications in Red Cross, Ellis, or YMCA Life guarding, CPR Professional Rescuer, and Standard First Aid are required.  Complete an application and email to Human Resources or mail to the GPCC, 2910 Jolly Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

 

Water Safety Instructors:

The Water Safety Instructor is primarily responsible for the health and safety of all members of the class while utilizing proper instructional techniques.  Must possess current Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification, and keep it current during length of Employment. Certification in Community CPR & Standard First Aid are a plus, but not required.  Complete an application and email to Human Resources or mail to the GPCC, 2910 Jolly Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
