Pennsylvania’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps with home energy bills for qualifying Pennsylvania residents. The new LIHEAP Recovery Crisis program will offer assistance to households that are having trouble paying their utility bills due to the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Households may receive up to $800 in assistance subject to income and eligibility requirements. Applications for assistance will begin today and will run through August 31, or until available funding is exhausted.
