Mulch Availability Update – April 2024

We are currently in the process of preparing our mulch inventory. Anticipated availability around May 1st, 2024. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the availability.

Mulch Deliveries

There is no delivery fee to Plymouth residents and up to 5 yards. There is a 1 yard minimum for the Public Works Dept. to deliver to your household.

The mulch is produced from material collected during yard waste collection.  Once this material is collected, it is stockpiled so it will break down at the public works yard.  This material- along with composted leaves – are processed by our horizontal grinder to make mulch to place around trees and in flower gardens.  The processed material is a makeup of about 75% woody material and 25% broken down composted leafy material.  This material holds moisture for your trees and gardens and amends the soil with additional nutrients.

Deliveries are every Friday throughout the year from March to November.  Anyone who would like a mulch delivery must fill out a delivery request form/liability release form.  The form below can be filled out electronically, downloaded and emailed to [email protected]
