Registration is now open for Senator Cappelletti’s annual Kids Fair, scheduled for Aug 3 at 5:30 at Elmwood Park Zoo. The event is free for residents of Senate District 17. We’ll have the usual array of vendors, live performances, and time to explore the beautiful zoo.

July 4th Parade

Researchers at Temple University are looking for families who drink water from a private well for a paid study. They are interested in keeping children safe from illnesses that can be spread by drinking water from private wells. Families will receive a free whole-home UV water treatment system (value of device + installation = $1,000). Families can participate from home. To be part of this NIH-funded study, families must have a child three years old or younger and live in select Pennsylvania counties.
