It is time for collective work and responsibility. To build and maintain our community together and make our brother’s and sister’s problems our problems and to solve them together. Join Plymouth Township Parks & Recreation as we Celebrate Black Heritage through a Virtual Showcase of local African- American Pioneers that have made a global impact. Hear from local leaders and organizations that promote equality to ensure a stronger and more just future for every American. Enjoy the black-owned business and TikTok dance to the sounds of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Jazz Band and #TAG the soulful poetry of American history.

National CSI Workshop Ages: 12-16 years
STEM concepts relating to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes are explored. The lecture, labs and exercises will cover many “CSI” topics including: collecting, analyzing and classifying fingerprints, creating & examining blood spatter patterns, casting footprints, and so much more! This is a very hands-on and interactive enrichment class. This workshop will be taught by current & former Detectives. Location: GPCC

Birding for Beginners Ages: All ages welcome!
If you consider yourself new to birding— whether brand-new or sorta-new, you just love nature, whatever— this outing is for you! We want to encourage you to “spread your wings” (all puns intended) and join us! Our route in this lovely park wanders through varied habitat of woods, stream, cultivated and natural fields, and will last about two hours. This 1+ mile easy, accessible paved path can also accommodate those who have limited mobility or utilize a scooter, walker, or wheelchair. All abilities and ages are welcome.
